Daniel Jovaneli

Certified Yoga Teacher 200

My yoga journey started shortly after a knee injury and ligament surgery. I learned about the physical benefits of yoga during my recovery. After I regained my strength, I felt my yoga practice was here to stay. A few years passed and an opportunity to learn to teach yoga came up, so I took it. That was in 2010, and it was one of the decisions that deeply impacted my life. I found out how much I enjoyed being able to share what I learned.

I like learning how to assist each yogi in their personal journey toward well-being. Most of the time we look for yoga for its physical benefits, of safe and gentle exercise, only to find out that those benefits extend far beyond the physical. We find ourselves less stressed, more energetic and generally more at peace. My style of teaching is adaptive and focused on what my students need. In class we warm-up and check-in with our entire body before moving into yoga asana (poses) practice. For me, yoga is about mindful, functional ease of movement.

Dora Jovaneli

Certified Yoga Teacher

I started practicing yoga with my husband Daniel when I moved to North Carolina in 2014, and have enjoyed the practice since. The simple to learn while tough to master aspect of yoga keeps me coming back for more. I feel I gained more insights into life and decided I had to share it with those who need it most. I work with special needs groups, bringing them yoga, one smile at a time. My teacher training with YogaFit and past experience enables me to make every class a fun and safe environment. My teaching is dynamic and focused on personal growth. I want to help people feel accomplished in their bodies, wherever they are today. I also take classes and teach them at the studio from time to time as we all cover each other's classes when a teacher goes on vacation, so I look forward to meeting you in class.

Mackenzie Bianco
Yoga Teacher

Hi, I’m Mackenzie Bianco! I have been consistently practicing yoga for 3 years now. Fitness has always been something that is important to me. I had done yoga on and off before but became more serious about practicing yoga while in High School as a way to improve my health. Between the breathwork and doing something that was healing and restorative for my body, I soon noticed yoga making a difference not only in my health but day to day life. Since then I have been practicing yoga nonstop! My freshman year of college I decided to take the next step to start teaching yoga classes at Appalachian State. This led me to get my Group Fitness Certification this spring. I am so excited to be joining Breeze In Yoga this summer and teaching Hatha yoga.
